Developed by a team of health psychology researchers at The University of Manchester and The University of Liverpool.

Here is some of the foundational work underpinning the TENTPEGS tool kit.
  • Evaluations of change in health professional confidence and likelihood of using the TENTPEGS toolkit in practice.
  • Translation of the evidence-based identifying theory-aligned behavior change techniques into usable and useful communication tools for health professionals (i.e. to explain what these bullets are referring to).
  • Systematic reviews of existing behavior change interventions.
  • Qualitative work with health professionals and medical educators to identify existing barriers to engaging in effective behavior change talk in practice.
  • Exploration and tailoring of the TENTPEGS training to online and face-to-face training formats.
