   
Camping Gear Tent
People are starting to go camping more than ever. Due to the high rise in the hotels and food, camping can be an
extremely inexpensive way to enjoy the out of doors, to see the country. Camping can be relaxing as it resting the
body and soul. There are as many different types of camping gear as there are campsites. One just has to decide
what they want in camping gear and tents.
When you are ready to go on that long awaited camping trip be sure to have a check list and check things off as
you pack them. There is always something that is forgotten. There are many items for camping gear tent one must
have to enjoy the trip. The tent of course is on the top of the list. Take the tent out of its holder, or if buying
a new one, take it out and set it up. Whether in the back yard or the living room it makes no difference. Spread it
out flat and check all the seams, check for mildew and make sure there are no rips or tears anywhere.
Be sure all the zippers on the camping gear tent are working properly and not broken. Have all the stakes and
polls in good shape. Take out the sleeping bags and check them as well. Some will fluff them up, getting air back
into them. Although they will be rolled back up it does hold a bit of that fresh air. Be sure to pack some extra
blankets, sleeping bags are great but the temperature may go way down at night and you will be thankful you packed
a couple blankets.
Other camping gear tent can include an air mattress or two. Blow them up before going on the camping trip. It is
better to know ahead of time if they have holes or not. If they do you can try to repair them, or just buy new air
mattresses. Seasoned campers will tell you that one can never have too many tarps. They are good for the floor of
the tent, and one on top of the tent in case of severe weather or high wind. They are good to cover the picnic
table and the camping gear in bad weather.
Every seasoned camper usually has a list of what needs to be put into the camping gear tent, from the camp stove
to the toothpaste. Beginners should either ask a fellow camper or maybe the sales person at a camping store what
should be on the list. Be sure to include pots and pans, cast iron works best and are the easiest to clean.
Although they are heavy they are the best to take.
Many campers will have a large rubber maid container that holds all the utensils for camping, forks, knives,
spoons, cooking utensils, plates and bowls. Be sure to pack plenty of towels and clothes. Good walking shoes are
also included in the camping gear tent checklist. Don’t forget the toiletries; they are a necessity as well.
